The East Holmes Veterinary clinic's dedicated staff strives to maintain the well being of the livestock and companion animals, it serves, as well as that of their owners through quality medicine, advanced technology and unparalleled compassion.

Our History

The East Holmes Veterinary Clinic began serving the Berlin and surrounding area in 1986. Dr. Eric Shaver and his wife Cheryl started the practice in the basement of their home, gradually expanding to the present facilities. Today we are a multi-vet, mixed practice serving the greater Holmes and surrounding area. Our seven doctors, and 36 staff members strive to offer you cutting edge quality medicine, while sticking to our small town roots. While each doctor provides care in all facets of the practice each has developed an area of special interest and concentration which has proven to be a valuable internal resource.

We have three facilities open to meet all of your needs. Our main office is in Berlin where all the surgical and major medical cases are seen. This location also provides a large animal haul in facility.

Our Millersburg satellite facility offers appointments for wellness and out- patient care as well as for grooming. Also, at our Millersburg location is our Laundro Mut, a 24 hour automated self serve dog wash.

Our newest facility is the Red Ruff Ruff Inn which offers boarding, grooming, and puppy daycare. Call for hours and availability. This facility also provides a Laundro Mut, a 24 hour automated self-serve dog wash.
